In the Krefelder Summer Open 2024 on August 1st, during the game between Lasschuit, Rene and Grigo, Burkhard, the move Bc5+ played by Black involved a bishop check that proposed an equal piece trade. Although it developed the piece actively, it missed an opportunity to threaten White more significantly and to reveal an attack on a piece. This move also overlooked a chance to develop another piece, yet it did place the bishop in a more aggressive position on the board.
